About me
(Please note, I currently have availability on Saturdays at 11am and 12pm and Wednesdays at 1pm).
Whether you're feeling sad, suffering with panic and anxiety or finding life meaningless, I’m here to help. Most of us feel emotionally challenged at times and we can often feel unnecessarily overwhelmed if we bottle up our problems. The therapeutic process begins the moment you express yourself to a person who's committed to bearing witness to your expression.
I offer an empathetic, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to talk openly at a pace that suits you. I will be present when listening to you and I'll provide you with insight if I feel it may be of benefit to you.
I've been practicing for over nine years and I'm passionate about Psychotherapy as I know first hand that it has the capacity to profoundly transform lives.
I work face to face from my practice in Berkhamsted and I fundamentally believe you need to feel comfortable with the therapist you choose, so I offer a free 30 minute initial online or telephone consultation. Please feel free to call or email me to arrange an appointment; I look forward to hearing from you.

Training
I trained at the CCPE (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education) in London for five years, qualifying as a Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist. My training was broken down into four parts, Psychodynamic (Our Early Life), Humanistic (Our Relationships & Our Present Life), Existentialism (Meaninglessness & Meaning) and Transpersonal (Spiritual Enquiry).
My Qualification is accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and my school, CCPE, is also accredited and a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
