About me
Welcome to my counselling space.
I'm Tiffany, also known as Tiff, an integrative counsellor at RISE counselling. Prior to becoming a therapist, I undertook my own personal journey in private therapy. Reflecting on my own life's map and delving into behaviour patterns has informed my current practice, allowing me to assist others, I feel empathy and pride for my clients, acknowledging the courage it takes for them to seek positive changes within themselves.
How can I help?
In my private practice, I offer a confidential, non judgemental space for you to be heard and explore any difficulties you are currently experiencing. I named my therapy practice RISE because I believe counselling can guide individuals through challenges , fostering growth and empowering them to become their desired selves.
I work with a range of issues and have expertise in the following:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Low self esteem
- Self care
- Emotional regulation
- Self worth
- Family issues
- Bereavement
I currently offer telephone and online sessions to provide flexibility in accessing therapy in our busy world. The duration of therapy can be tailored to your needs, whether short or long term.
What to expect
As an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, I utilize various modalities tailored to meet my clients needs. Recognizing that counselling is a highly personal journey, that seeking therapy can be intimidating. My aim is to establish a trusting down to earth therapeutic relationship as we navigate your journey together to ensure your comfort.
While I believe that as a therapist I cant promise I will provide all the answers, I see you as holding the key from within. sometimes, it can be challenging to perceive, but through our sessions, we can explore these issues to gain a deeper understanding, to bring you back to your true authentic self. This process can assist you in identifying triggers and navigating issues more easily.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, which is why I offer a free 30-minute assessment. Establishing trust, genuineness, and empathy is crucial in our therapeutic relationship. During this brief assessment, I hope you gain a sense of the therapist I am, and if you feel comfortable, I look forward to walking with you on the path you are seeking.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
