About me
Hello, how are you feeling today?
Please do not feel disheartened, as I can reassure you that you are not alone in your day-to-day life experiences. At times, we are left feeling less ourselves and reaching out to someone who can be there with you to explore your inner-self is all that you need to move in the direction you desire and get you towards being the better version of yourself.
At breakthrough counselling, I adopt a person-centered approach which aims to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment through empathetic understanding.
As a counsellor in my integrative approach, I allow you to choose the direction of your healing journey for yourself, I am not here to tell you what to do but here to guide you through your own experience.
I will accompany you on your journey of self-exploration and support your growth, encouraging you to reach your own breakthrough.
Sessions can take place face-to-face in a soothing private room, or via WhatsApp or Zoom, providing you with individual care and a safe space to talk, that fits around you and your busy lifestyle.

Alongside my private counselling practice, I also volunteer as a counsellor at a local counselling service for sexual assault and rape supporting survivors with trauma. I have a great passion for this service as its all about working with clients who require support with building back their self-confidence, self-compassion, self-worth and self-esteem.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
