About me

**Availability on weekday evenings both face to face in central Stockport and online**

Does life feel overwhelming right now?

Are you struggling to keep up with the demands of day-to-day life? Perhaps you’re facing a challenge or change that feels impossible to navigate alone. Whatever you’re going through, I am here to help. Together, we can explore your concerns, unravel them bit by bit, and work toward creating meaningful change - at a pace that feels right for you. No problem is too big or small to talk about, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

About Me

I am a warm, empathetic, and passionate Person-Centred Counsellor based in Stockport. I offer both face-to-face sessions in my Stockport practice and remote video sessions so you can access support from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you feel most at ease.

As a Person-Centred therapist, I believe you hold the answers within yourself. My role is not to tell you what to do or offer advice, but to support and empower you to reconnect with your inner resources. Together, we’ll explore what you truly need and how to take back control of your life, even if it feels far away right now.

What I Offer

I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can freely share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My goal is to help you find clarity, healing, and confidence as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself or creating the life you want to lead.

I work with adults and young people and have a particular interest in helping those facing challenges such as:

  •  Anxiety
  •  Depression or low mood
  •  Low self-esteem or confidence
  •  Bereavement and grief
  •  Relationship or family issues
  •  Loneliness

I understand that reaching out for help can feel daunting, especially if this is your first time. I hope to make the process as easy and welcoming as possible.

Next Steps

Taking the first step toward counselling is a big moment, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. If you’d like to explore working together, please get in touch to arrange a free 20-minute consultation. We can talk about your needs, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
