About me
Hi, welcome to my profile. Thanks for stopping by. My name is Tara, I am an integrative counsellor and a sex and relationship psychotherapist.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, human, and relaxed. I believe that the power of therapy can lay in a strong relationship between you and the therapist.
I will tailor the sessions and my approach to you. I will pull from different styles of therapy (this is called integrative therapy) and work alongside you to help you with whatever you bring.
I am not the type of therapist that will sit there silently, politely taking notes (not that there is anything wrong with this if that’s what you want). I welcome the sharing of memes, pictures of your pets, and raw honesty. I want the space to be comfortable and safe for you, and your partner/s.
I work in a trauma-informed way i.e. addressing any barriers trauma may have given you, and I am kink, sex worker, and LGBTQIA+ friendly
Alongside this, I have an innate capacity to hold people in places were others dare to tread, warmly, safely, and without judgment.
I provide online one-to-one, or relationship therapy. That may mean you are in a couple and I can see you both together.
Sessions are online, 50 mins. 50mins - 1hour (for couples +)
It’s a brave step to reach out and book a session, but if you are feeling brave reach out, book a session, grab yourself a cuppa, and let's have a chat.
“Whether we seek to explore eroticism on our own or with a partner, it always starts at the source: the self. ”
