About me
Do you need help healing from the past but also moving forward? Struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or stress? Feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure about life? Facing confidence issues or afraid of change? Therapeutic Coaching can help.
What is Therapeutic Coaching?
This method is incredibly effective as it combines the direction, goals and focus of life-coaching along with the healing of counselling. It promotes personal growth whilst understanding your emotional baggage to become stronger, wiser, happier and more confident. It's the best of both worlds where you get 2 professional services mixed into 1.
How I can Help You
I am a trained life coach and qualified counsellor offering a blend of both to help clients resolve past emotional issues and focus forward to achieve their goals. They don't have to be huge or ambitious goals; yours might simply be to feel less anxious. These are the benefits of Therapeutic Coaching:
- I can gently guide you through difficulties from the past and together, we will find a clear path towards a future with meaning, focusing on your strengths and how to live the life you really want
- I will champion you every step of the way and by steering towards what matters most to you, your confidence will soar, your stress tolerance will expand and you will no longer feel held back or stuck because of your personal history.
- I am an active, encouraging partner in this journey and definitely won't just sit, listen and nod! If your needs are at the bottom of the list behind everyone else's, we will gradually move them up and watch your self-worth grow and grow.
- I am truly excited to see your transformation and this is one of the reasons why I gave up my job at 45 to re-train and do this work. I am passionate about what I do and anything goes (whether it be swearing, laughing, yelling, bawling, or silence). I am neuro-affirming which translates hopefully to everyone is welcome.
My Journey
I have been probably where you are right now; anxious, sad, unmotivated, stressed out and asking myself 'is this really all there is to life?' l understand what it is like to lose confidence in dealing with day to day stress. I know how change can sometimes make us feel lost. I appreciate what over-thinking, self-sabotage and repeating old patterns does to us. I see how anxiety and depression steals joy from nearly everything. I, too, have gone through the hard but courageous process to make changes, set boundaries and grow. I see so many people feeling the same but they don't think its bad or serious enough to seek help. They might even believe their life hasn't been terrible enough to deserve counselling but everyone has a past that can sometimes get in the way of positive change. That is why therapeutic coaching works because the focus is on what you want from the future and the past is revisited only when unprocessed difficulties are re-appearing in the present.
Looking for Help with Adult ADHD?
Therapeutic Coaching also works brilliantly to help adults with ADHD to navigate and understand how to play to their super-powers of focus, creativity, passion and imagination and avoid the pitfalls of impulsivity, rejection sensitivity and social anxiety. Imagine what it might be like to focus on your unique strengths and at the same time to understand what it means for you to have a brain that processes things in an alternative way to how other brains work. It can also be very healing to work through what feeling like the odd one out, the black sheep or just different to everyone else was like. I can help you not only heal past wounds but thrive with ADHD.
I know change is within your grasp with the right tools that I can teach you, so please get in touch to find out more.

Firstly, I believe change is entirely possible and am excited to help you find a way back to joy and purpose. We can look at what is going on that is making life so difficult and learn skills and tools to reframe negative thinking. By focusing on your values and strengths we will plot our way towards positive change, whilst building resilience and undoing some of the past old stories that are getting in the way.
