About me
I’m an experienced and BACP registered integrative therapist available to support you today. My practice works online with children and young people (from age 8), adults, families and couples.
While I specialise in relationships and eating disorders, I work with a range of presentations.
These include:
Relationship Difficulties; Relationship Breakdowns; Trauma; PTSD; Abuse (Domestic, Physical, Emotional, Sexual); Anxiety; Low Mood/Depression; Neglect; Stress; Bereavement/Grief; Eating and Body Image Issues; Life Transitions; Loneliness; Low Self-Esteem; Experiences of Self-Harm and Suicidality and many more.
Perhaps you are unsure whether therapy is the right choice for you, are feeling unhappy, anxious or confused. As a therapist, I’m here to guide you along your way and find therapeutic interventions that may be useful for you (and your family/partner(s))
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked as a psychotherapist for several years and provided counselling for several organisations.
Following my NHS work in London, I have provided counselling in local charities in Edinburgh.
I have since branched out into working with private organisations as an integrative therapist before opening my private practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

My core training is in both Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapies. However, I integrate elements from many different therapies/styles, including Gestalt, Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies, into my counselling/psychotherapy work to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client.
