About me

Welcome to TN Wellness

I’m Tamara—a trauma-informed psychotherapist with a passion for helping individuals reclaim their emotional balance and build lasting resilience.

My sessions are holistic, solution-focused, and designed to empower you from the very first meeting. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, supporting a child through emotional difficulties, or seeking clarity in your relationships, I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore and grow.

Using the Human Givens framework, I blend practical techniques with deep emotional insight to help you:

🌱 Understand your symptoms and triggers
🎯 Set meaningful goals
🛠 Develop effective coping strategies
💪 Strengthen your inner resources

Together, we’ll uncover your strengths and foster self-directed change—so you’re not just surviving, but thriving.

Your mental health isn’t a checklist—it’s a journey. If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and tailors support to your unique story, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Let’s connect and explore how we can work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience spans over 15 years.

I have a strong foundation in Criminal Justice and Social Care, I possess substantial experience in working with a variety of populations.

Throughout my career, I have supported young people and adults facing difficult circumstances—such as those who have committed offences, experienced trauma, addiction, been victims or witnesses of abuse and violence, or dealt with complex social and emotional challenges. I excel in assisting individuals who display challenging behaviours, guiding them on their unique journeys toward well-being.

My diverse professional and personal experiences shape my creative, person-centered approach to therapy. I am especially dedicated to addressing unmet therapy needs in underserved communities, focusing on areas such as the Criminal Justice System, Black and Ethnic Minority groups, mental health for young and adult males, sports psychotherapy, and family wellness.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the Human Givens Institute, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I also have BA Honours Degrees in Criminal Justice and Community Justice and a Diploma in Probation Knowledge
