About me

Welcome to TN Wellness

I'm Tamara, and I offer a holistic, solution-oriented sessions helping individuals quickly regain control of their lives, showing improvements from the first session.

My approach encourages clients to harness their own volition and empowers clients by helping them to set goals, understand their symptoms, challenges, and the steps needed to enhance resilience against future setbacks, while also providing effective coping strategies.

Sessions also emphasise clients' strengths and resources, fostering self-generated change.

I work within the Human Givens framework, which provides a straightforward and practical way to apply various therapeutic methods and techniques effectively. This approach emphasises emotional needs and mental resources, enabling improvements in well-being and addressing a range of mental health issues.

Your mental health is not a tick box.

Are you looking for a therapist who truly understands your unique journey?

Whether you’re seeking a consultation to explore if we’re the right fit, support for your child to navigate their emotional landscape, or tailored sessions to dive deep into your emotional needs, I’m here to help.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience spans over 15 years.

I have a strong foundation in Criminal Justice and Social Care, I possess substantial experience in working with a variety of populations.

Throughout my career, I have supported young people and adults facing difficult circumstances—such as those who have committed offences, experienced trauma, addiction, been victims or witnesses of abuse and violence, or dealt with complex social and emotional challenges. I excel in assisting individuals who display challenging behaviours, guiding them on their unique journeys toward well-being.

My diverse professional and personal experiences shape my creative, person-centered approach to therapy. I am especially dedicated to addressing unmet therapy needs in underserved communities, focusing on areas such as the Criminal Justice System, Black and Ethnic Minority groups, mental health for young and adult males, sports psychotherapy, and family wellness.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the Human Givens Institute, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I also have BA Honours Degrees in Criminal Justice and Community Justice and a Diploma in Probation Knowledge
