About me

There are times in our lives when we find ourselves overwhelmed or struggling with issues that can be difficult, confusing or painful. Perhaps you feel stuck, anxious or afraid? We can reach a point where we feel we can no longer deal with our thoughts and feelings alone, or may feel we don't want to share what is going on with those around us.

Your story and experience matters, and I offer a confidential, safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and accepted for who you are. I will work alongside you, at your own pace, to explore the challenges that are present for you.

Taking the first step to finding the right therapist can be a daunting task. I believe that the 'therapeutic relationship', and compassion, are key in enabling you to find a deep understanding and acceptance of yourself. This in turn can support you in finding new meaning and hope for transformative change going forward.

I am an integrative 'person-centred' counsellor, and provide a safe space to explore the issues present for you with compassion and curiosity. I will be alongside you to listen, support and offer coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety or emotional distress. I will support you to break free of life strategies that may no longer serve you, and empower you to make your own choices to live more authentically, embracing your own individuality.

I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling. Some clients feel more at ease in a natural environment so I also offer 'walk and talk' therapy locations across Bristol and North Somerset.
