About me
Hello, I’m Sue — it’s lovely to meet you here.
With over 10 years of experience in the world of counselling, my passion lies in walking alongside you on your unique journey. My core training is Person-Centred Therapy, but I also draw from a range of other approaches to offer the support that best fits you. After all, no two people are the same, and your journey deserves to be as individual as you are.
Counselling isn’t just about talking — it’s about truly being heard, finding clarity, and making those small but powerful steps towards positive change. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or a little lost, please know that you are not alone. When life feels too heavy, it can be hard to see the way forward. Whatever challenges you’re facing, they do not define who you are. Through counselling, you can reconnect with yourself and begin to unlock your full potential.
My experience covers a wide range of areas, including relationships and couples counselling. Domestic abuse, coercive control, bereavement, anxiety, depression and work related stress. Whatever you bring, you’ll find a safe, understanding space here — a space where your feelings matter and your voice will always be heard. Together, we’ll explore your emotions and experiences, untangling the complexities and gently moving towards healing, growth, and self-awareness.
I truly understand how hard it can be to reach out for support. For a long time, I didn’t believe in therapy myself. Having faced trauma and loss from an early age, I grew up fiercely independent, trusting no one and believing that letting people in would only lead to hurt. It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I finally accepted help — and allowed myself to believe I was worthy of kindness. That moment planted a seed that changed my life. My own healing journey wasn’t easy, but it was necessary — and it’s why I feel so passionate about supporting others. About supporting you.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to walk it with you
Training, qualifications & experience
I work with both individual adults and couples, offering dedicated and compassionate support through life’s challenges.
Holding a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, along with a Level 5 Diploma in Relationship and Couples Counselling, I bring a strong foundation in mental health and well-being to my practice.
I have previously worked in a Children's centre and as a foster parent. I have experience of the care system, supporting teens during their time in care and parents whose children are currently in care.
For the last few years I have solely worked in private practice, having offices in West-Malling in KENT, Soho and Kings Cross in London. I offer online counselling throughout the UK and Europe.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
