Are you overwhelmed by anxiety, past trauma or low self-worth? Are you feeling stuck or trapped in a loop that seems confusing and overwhelming?  Do you experience disconnession from yourself, your surroundings and people around you?

You do not have to face it alone! I offer a non-judgmental, confidential space where you explore any obstacles that are currently affecting your life, where you can begin to understand what's been happening beneath the surface, at your own pace.

I work with people from all backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations and  gender identities, honouring the unique story of each client.

I use an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, elements of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Mindfulness. This allows me to tailor therapy to each individual, supporting both practical change and deeper self-awareness.

I am highly experienced in counselling students, young and adult carers, people affected by a history of Trauma, anxiety, depression and low self-confidence. I also offer EAP Counselling to organisations.

Please get in touch to arrange a free Initial Consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

Following the completion of a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology, I obtained a BACP recognised Diploma in Gestalt Counselling. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I fully adhere to their code of ethics. I belong to the accredited register recognised by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care and I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

I deliver a Humanistic- Integrative approach drawing from a variety of psychological interventions such as Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, according to the specific needs of the client in any particular moment.

In addition to my private practice, I’ve worked in NHS Community Mental Health multidisciplinary teams, Social Services, Mind Org, Drug and Alcohol for London Services, Carers Centre as well as EAP Organisations and Universities.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
