About me

Hi, I'm Stacey and I practise online or in Mill Hill, North West London.  I specialise in bereavement, loss, mental health difficulties and anxiety.

I work with adults and adolescents.

Therapy can be a fulfilling experience helping you to reach your full potential. I am a counsellor/therapist for over 20 years. My practise is open to those struggling with depression, anxiety or if you are just seeking more fulfilment in your life. Life changes and at times present challenges can overwhelm us. Starting counselling can be a daunting experience however it can be a sign of strength and a first step towards a stronger sense of self.

As an integrative, humanistic and CBT counsellor, group facilitator, I draw on a range of experiences of different modalities of psychotherapy. I have 20 years of experience helping with loss, bereavement, trauma and mental health difficulties. I believe in the relationship and our journey together.

I specialise working with males such as anxiety and depression and also run a young adults clinic.

I can offer a safe, confidential space, where we can explore and make sense of your thoughts, feelings and personal difficulties. We all need support sometimes, you can call or email me for a free 15 minute consultation over the phone or online.  If you are happy we can set up a further session and then arrange to see each other weekly.

Call me or pop me an email and I will aim to reply in 24 hours.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience lies in loss, bereavement, divorce, anxiety and depression.  I graduated in counselling in the year 2000.  I worked for one of the Countries leading bereavement charities for 12 years.  I work with all ages starting from 18 years old.  I use a variety of methods including humanistic and CBT.

I also work with young adults from 18 - 30 who have concerns about development, career changes, higher education, family differences, loss depression and anxiety

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
