About me
Have you spent years being the 'good girl', while secretly feeling exhausted, stuck in your head, and unsure who you actually are beneath it all?
Maybe you understand yourself well. You know where it all comes from. But you're still struggling, overthinking, disconnected from your body and from who you truly are behind the performing and masking. Maybe therapy has helped you understand things intellectually, but never quite helped you actually feel different.
Many of the women I work with are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or coming to a realisation that they might be. Whether you’re diagnosed, questioning, or just realising that the way you experience the world has a name, you’re welcome here.
How we work together
I offer a warm, gentle space where you can explore what really matters to you, mind, body, and soul. As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, I support you to understand and heal the different “parts” of you, like the inner critic, the perfectionist, or the ‘good girl’ who learnt to mask. Together, we’ll explore how these parts have helped you survive and succeed, and what they might need in order to soften and heal. Alongside more traditional 'talking therapy' and IFS, I offer creative approaches such as journaling, sandtray, and art, for when words aren’t enough, as well as Rewind Therapy (a highly effective method for processing trauma.)
The work I do is all about creating enough safety to actually feel things in your body, not just understand them in your head, because this is where the transformation often happens.
I believe in the power of real, authentic relationships to support healing and change. That's why I don't work from a script or a one-size-fits-all approach. I bring my whole, down-to-earth, very human self to every session, and I try to create a space that's genuinely different from the ones you might have been in before.
There's no right way to show up in therapy with me. Here, you don't have to ‘find the right answers’, hold it together, or perform in any way. You can stim, fidget, move around, snack, drink, take time to process in silence, or go off on tangents - it’s all welcome.
If this resonates, and you're ready to stop figuring yourself out and start building a life that truly fits, I'd love to hear from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work primarily through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), combined with creative tools like sandtray, art, and journaling. My work is grounded in both my professional training and lived experience, and always tailored to meet you where you are, at your own pace.
I hold an MSc in Counselling Children, Young People and Families from the University of Northampton, a BSc in Psychology from Kingston University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play and Creative Arts. I’m a fully qualified Level 1 IFS Therapist, a registered SandStory Therapist, and a certified Rewind Practitioner for trauma work.
Alongside one-to-one sessions, I also run therapeutic workshops, courses, and trainings, offering spaces for reflection, connection, and deeper self-understanding.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
