About me
Hello, I am a Qualified Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Hypnotherapist. I have diverse professional experience of working in hospitals, custodial settings, dental practices and in education. Supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, self-harm, trauma, low-self esteem and life transitions.
I have been working as a Dental professional for over 15 years and this work has deeply informed my therapeutic work. I have supported patients who experience high levels of anxiety, stress, shame and fear. This has required empathy, sensitivity and the ability to build trust and rapport in moments of vulnerability. My multidisciplinary training gives me a unique understanding and knowledge of the important connection between mental health, oral health and general health.
How I work
I practice a variety and range of Psychological modalities and evidence based therapies including:
- CBT
- Psychotherapy
- Humanistic Therapy (Person-centred)
- Hypnotherapy
- NLP and more.
I adhere to the Codes of Ethical Standards and Conduct provided by the professional bodies I belong to. I am continually learning and undertake continued professional development (CPD) to enhance and grow my skills and techniques, which are evidence based.
I work holistically and collaboratively with clients, to help them become aware and understand their belief patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
I provide a safe, non- judgemental, respectful, and compassionate space, where you can explore and make sense of your experiences, as well as feeling heard and understood. I recognise that each person’s experiences, cultures and needs are unique, and I thoughtfully tailor and personalise my therapeutic approach to support you in a way that feels right for you.

Further information
I work in a holistic and integrative way, recognising that emotional wellbeing is deeply connected to both the mind and body. Alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I consider the impact of factors such as nutrition, sleep hygiene, lifestyle patterns, and nervous system regulation in supporting overall mental health.
Drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities and grounded in neuroscience-informed practice, I tailor each session to your individual needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. By combining psychological insight with practical strategies, I aim to create a counselling experience that feels collaborative, personalised, and empowering.
