About me
You may be here because something in your life has become too overwhelming to manage alone — anxiety that keeps looping, relationship patterns that leave you confused or hurt, or the lasting impact of emotional or domestic abuse. Whatever has brought you here, you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported without judgement.
I work with people navigating complex mental health challenges, including anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and the deep confusion that often follows abusive or controlling relationships. My approach is gentle, grounded, and collaborative. Together, we make sense of what has happened, reconnect with your inner strength, and rebuild trust in yourself at a pace that feels right for you.
Although much of my work has been with women, I also support men and members of the LGBTQ+ community, who are equally affected by abuse, coercive control, and relationship difficulties but often feel overlooked or unsure where to turn. My practice is an inclusive, affirming space where your identity, boundaries, and lived experience are respected.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to face it alone. Healing is possible, and you get to define what that looks like.
How I Work
My style is warm, steady, and relational. I don’t sit in silence or analyse you from a distance — I’m here with you, human to human. I listen deeply, reflect gently, and help you understand the patterns, beliefs, and survival strategies that have shaped your life so far.
Clients often tell me they feel safe with me quickly, even if they’ve struggled to trust before. That’s because I work at your pace, with no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We explore your story with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
I draw from trauma‑informed, integrative approaches, including relational therapy, attachment work, and emotional processing. This means we look not only at what happened, but at how it lives in your body, your relationships, and your sense of self — and how to gently shift it.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, the aftermath of abuse, relationship problems, or a general sense of being lost, we work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

“WHAT TO EXPECT”
In our work together, you won’t be expected to have all the answers. We begin where you are.
Over time, you may start to notice small changes—feeling more able to express yourself, understanding your emotions more clearly, and beginning to trust yourself again.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
