About me
You may have spent much of your life holding things together whilst internally feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected or exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Perhaps you find yourself stuck in painful relationship patterns, struggling with self-criticism and self-worth, masking parts of yourself to fit in or feeling unsure where you belong.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults experiencing relational trauma, high-functioning anxiety, neurodivergence, chronic illness, identity struggles and difficulties with belonging. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, emotionally aware individuals who have spent much of their lives people-pleasing, masking or adapting to others whilst losing connection with themselves. Clients often describe experiencing a gradual shift in how they relate to themselves, process their emotions and navigate relationships and everyday life.
You may struggle to put feelings into words or carry experiences that have felt unspoken or unsupported. I offer a space to slow down and begin making sense of what you carry, at a deeper and more manageable pace. Together, we explore the patterns, relationships and earlier experiences that may still be shaping how you feel about yourself and others today.
My approach is warm, relational and trauma-informed. I work collaboratively and interactively, offering both emotional support and gentle challenge where helpful, to support greater awareness of patterns, relationships and how you relate to yourself. We work at a pace that feels manageable, creating a space where your experience can be explored with care, curiosity and honesty.
For those experiencing anxiety, dissociation, overwhelm or emotional dysregulation, we may also incorporate grounding and body-based awareness to support regulation and a greater sense of safety and stability in the therapeutic space.
Areas I Often Work With
-Relational and developmental trauma; particularly childhood trauma
-Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
-Neurodivergent adults (Autism/ADHD) particularly late diagnosis in adult life
-Identity, belonging and cultural experiences
-Chronic illness and disability
-Shame, self-worth and inner criticism
-Attachment and relationship difficulties
-Masking and burnout
I have extensive experience supporting people navigating the intersections of race and cultural identity, neurodivergence and mental health, including those who may have felt unseen, misunderstood or emotionally unsupported within earlier relationships, family systems or wider environments.

If helpful, I also offer a brief complimentary phone call prior to booking so we can discuss any initial questions and whether the space feels right for you.
I currently offer:
In-person sessions on Mondays in East London; Hackney.
Online, telephone and text based sessions throughout the week.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training
I am a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, having completed a four year Postgraduate Masters programme at Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.
Prior to this, I completed a three year diploma in Integrative Counselling (NCPS).
How I work
My work draws from relational- developmental, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and humanistic approaches, allowing therapy to be tailored to your individual needs. I bring both professional knowledge and personal insight into some of the experiences explored within our work together. Where helpful, I may also integrate creative approaches and awareness of nervous system regulation and parts work into the therapeutic process.
I see the therapeutic relationship itself as an important part of change and healing. Together, we can begin to understand patterns rooted in earlier experiences, develop greater self-awareness and create more compassionate ways of relating to yourself and others.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked within the NHS, private healthcare and community settings, experiences which continue to inform my ways of working.
An important part of my work is striving to create and continually working within an inclusive practice and helping to reduce barriers to accessing therapy where possible.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
