About me
I am an experienced couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapist with additional qualifications and training in systemic approaches to working with families, and organisations. I trained at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic and at Tavistock Relationships, a world-renowned institution specialising in relationship therapy.
I strongly believe in the importance of the therapeutic alliance – the trust between a client and therapist that is required to make progress and facilitate change. My approach is empathetic and gentle, and I offer clients a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings, worries, or any other anxieties and concerns.
In my work with clients, we explore ways in which both the relationship and the individuals can grow, gain more control, and emerge strengthened by the experience. Psychodynamic psychotherapy can foster a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships with others by exploring the root causes of difficulties you are facing. Through a collaborative process, we gain new insights that helps to Foster, new more fulfilling, and empathic ways of relating.
Sessions take place face-to-face in my Belgravia practice or online in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Mutual trust allows openness and space for reflection, facilitating growth for both individuals and couples, helping them find clarity and a positive way forward.
Following the free initial conversation, if the decision is to proceed with regular therapy, we will agree on a mutually convenient time for weekly sessions. These regular sessions occur once a week and last for 50-55 minutes.
Although psychodynamic therapy is usually open-ended, I can also offer time-limited therapy depending on your needs and goals; we can discuss this in our first meeting.

I attend regular supervision and professional development programmes and workshops to enhance my knowledge and development in psychotherapy.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Family business
I am also passionate about helping couples and families who run a business together to better understand the dynamics and root causes of issues so they can overcome those challenges together.
When given the opportunity to voice different thoughts and feelings in a safe, constructive and supportive environment, couples and families can come to understand the root cause of conflicts, learn how to resolve them, and discover ways to move forward in their businesses - improving productivity, profitability, and satisfaction, as well as bringing with them a greater sense of connection.

Further information
Starting therapy:
I can be contacted by phone or email, which I will respond to by the end of the next working day. We can then have a short phone conversation, and, if appropriate, schedule an initial consultation, before committing to ongoing work. This consultation will allow you to ask any questions and decide if we can work together. If I am not the right person, I will do my best to help you think of another suitable therapist.
It is important that you feel comfortable with me so that a relationship based on trust can develop between us. It also allows me to be sure that embarking on therapy is the best way forward for you in your circumstances. If we decide to proceed with ongoing work, we will agree a day and time for weekly sessions.
My fee for initial consultations as well as for ongoing sessions is £80 for individuals and £100 for couples.
I am working during weekdays, during the day and in the evenings. Occasionally, I have some availability on Weekends.
I work online with zoom or in my Belgravia practice which is few minutes walk from Slone square station.
