About me

I am a BACP accredited Counsellor with11years experience working with clients with relationship issues, including affairs, life-stages, communication bereavement, anxiety and depression. I also work with clients with issues around low self esteem. I am also qualified for working clients with Eating Disorders.

I am also a qualified Supervisor and lecturer in Counselling and external examiner for a University.

It is important for you to feel safe and comfortable about talking about issues that are troubling you. I work at your pace  and use different theoretical models to help you achieve your goals. That may included psychodynamic, exploring the past to understand how it influences the present. Systemic theory to look at belief systems and patterns within current and past family interactions, to help understand and possibly change behaviours. CBT and Solution focussed therapy which enable you to change the way you think, which in turn, can change the way you feel. This is very helpful for clients experiencing anxiety and depression.
