Clinical Psychologist
Stourbridge DY8 & Birmingham B14

About me

As a clinical psychologist, I offer individual therapy where you can expect me to create a space where we can get to know your story more deeply and work through what may be blocking you from living a more fulfilling life.
I can support you to work through past trauma, low mood, depression, anxiety, family and relationships difficulties. I predominantly use a sensorimotor psychotherapy approach where we focus on how the body holds difficulties and find new ways for you to engage with the world and others. I also use EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy and other approaches.  As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained across therapeutic models and draw on what would suit your needs best.
If you'd like to take the next step, please do email me and we can arrange a short telephone call. This allows us to discuss practical elements such as availability, frequency and answer any questions you may have about therapy or my style. We can then arrange to book in for an initial consultation session.
I currently have Tuesday and Friday availability only.
I am registered with CIGNA, Aviva, Vitality and WPA as an insurance provider.
Please note I do not currently have any concessional spaces so please check my fees.

Training, qualifications & experience

Before undertaking my Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I studied both at undergraduate and masters level in psychology. Doctorate training has equipped me with the ability to use multiple models of therapy and interweave them to fit what works best for clients. I have also undertaken further training in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy and group analysis to further enhance my therapeutic work.

I predominantly work with trauma, anxiety, family patterns and relationship difficulties. Considering how these difficulties have impacted on your identity and wellbeing, and how we move forward. I'm interested in Intergenerational Trauma and how difficulties manifest across the generations.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
