Supervision details

I currently work as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and independent practice. I have experience of individual and group therapy, supervising teams and developing services. I have worked within acute, forensic and specialist child services. I'm particularly interested in the impact of visible difference and marginalisation on wellbeing and identity. I support professionals to develop their anti-racism practice and consider their role in navigating the power relations that are ever present in social interactions (for themselves and those they work with). I am also interested in visibly different skin conditions. In terms of supervision, I hold an embodied and relational supervision frame, drawing predominantly on sensorimotor and group analytic principles. I tailor supervision to your supervision needs, with regular reviews for us to continually ensure supervision is meaningful and meeting its purposes.  In terms of my training, I have further trained in solution focused therapy, EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, group analysis and organisational change methods as part of my continuing professional development.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer therapy in Halesowen, Stourbridge and Jewellery Quarter. Halesowen and Jewellery Quarter have lift access. There is free parking near the Halesowen and Stourbridge therapy rooms. Jewellery Quarter street parking is £1.50 for 1 hour 8am-6pm.
