About me
In my 10 years of working as a therapist, I have come to recognise how profoundly connection to self and to others lies at the heart of emotional wellbeing and leading a meaningful, fulfilled life.
This strongly informs the way that I work and I practice as a trauma informed, relational, attachment and somatically emotion-focussed therapist.
The foundation of any relationship starts at home - in your own body and I work somatically and creatively to develop your relationship with yourself - a self that can be confident, connected and compassionate both within and offered out.
In this process you will get to know the different parts that make you who you are. Creating space to connect to wounded parts, to witness protective parts, to be curious of shameful parts and the stories they tell themselves. With intentional movement towards welcoming in your whole self, establishing boundaries and connecting to your intrinsic inner wisdom.
I believe that freedom lies in self acceptance and our most authentic expressions of self. I will offer a container for this type of exploration while holding a deep belief that this naturally unfolds into deeper understanding, trust and confidence of self.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer space for a unique journey within yourself; connecting to thoughts, feelings and behaviours through the eyes of your past, present and future self. I work creatively using kindness, compassion and curiosity; first offering it inwards and then out into the world. Understanding can be found through gentle exploration of relationships and life events.
Feelings can be overwhelming to navigate alone. I offer consistency, openness and warmth in what can sometimes feel like an uncertain, lonely and challenging world. I enjoy working honestly and spontaneously with each client; using our unique therapeutic relationship to create brightness and clarity through self-discovery, as you grow towards your goals.
