About me

Working with relational issues is at the heart of my work. Healthy relationships and connection are the key to fulfilment, motivation and wellbeing. I offer my clients a pathway to notice patterns of how they relate to their world and build understanding around their behaviours. This naturally leads to awareness which in turn will create choice, empowerment and positive change. I have specialised working with teenagers and young people both face to face and online. Creating safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship is fundamental, from this place grows confidence, kindness to self and others, direction and resilience.

I offer grounding, calming and soothing strategies to support emotional regulation. In a safe space, clients can learn how to recognise fight/flight/freeze responses and behavioural and emotional patterns. All feelings are completely normal, I can offer a pathway to learn how to express and respond to them safely. Build a toolkit that enables emotional resilience; a way to better understand, accept and support whatever you feel.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I offer space for a unique journey within yourself; connecting to thoughts, feelings and behaviours through the eyes of your past, present and future self. I work creatively using kindness, compassion and understanding; first offering it inwards and then out into the world. Peace can be found through gentle exploration of relationships and life events.

Feelings can be overwhelming to navigate alone. I offer consistency, openness and warmth in what can sometimes feel like an uncertain, lonely and challenging world. I enjoy working honestly and spontaneously with each client; using our unique therapeutic relationship to create brightness and clarity through self-discovery, as you grow towards your goals.
