About us
Are you experiencing sleepless nights or finding that anxiety is taking a toll on you? You may be struggling with low mood, depression, or relationship challenges. Do you feel alone? and feel as though no one is truly listening. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
At times like these, having someone to talk to can make a meaningful difference. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can be heard with patience, understanding, and without judgment. Together, we can begin to explore your experiences, find hope and purpose and work towards greater clarity and wellbeing.
My name is Miracle, and I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, and I am passionate about supporting individuals from diverse cultural communities, including Black and African backgrounds, who may be seeking a therapist who understands the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience.
How I Can Support You
I support clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns, including:
Anxiety and stress, Depression and low mood, Trauma and past experiences, Bereavement and loss, Relationship difficulties, Low self-esteem and confidence, Identity and cultural challenges.
I understand that cultural expectations, family dynamics, and societal pressures can sometimes make it harder to seek support. I aim to create a space where all aspects of your identity are respected and understood.
My Approach
I use an integrative relational approach, tailoring therapy to suit your individual needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.
My work draws from
Person-centred therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused approaches
This allows us to explore both present challenges and deeper patterns, while also developing practical tools to support your everyday life.
I work with sensitivity to cultural identity, recognising how background, values, and lived experiences shape our understanding of ourselves and the world.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with over five years of experience working with diverse client groups, including young people, adults, and older adults.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its ethical framework, ensuring a safe, ethical, and professional service.
I bring warmth, empathy, and cultural awareness into my work, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
