About me
Is life getting on top of you? Afraid of the dark shadows, or finding it difficult to feel joy and peace? My name is Sarah Sinden, and I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, here to listen and hold space for you.
Firstly, congratulations on taking the first steps to support yourself by looking into the therapy journey. Sometimes this can feel daunting, and it takes courage to take these first steps.
I work from a warm and welcoming space at Downton Leisure Centre in Wiltshire. I also offer home visits, online sessions and nature therapy sessions.
My foundation is built upon a Person-Centred Approach, which means empathy, congruence and respect underpin our therapeutic relationship and the work we do. Together, we walk side by side to explore any issues, patterns, or resistance you may be experiencing - at your pace and in your own way.
I also draw on Transpersonal and Humanistic perspectives, which allow us to consider the whole person: mind, body, spirit, values, beliefs, needs, desires, and experiences.
I offer a gentle, grounded presence and a calm, safe space to talk about whatever is going on for you. Above all, I provide a non-judgmental environment where you are invited to bring your whole self - just as you are.
Through my own personal experience, I’ve seen how counselling can be a powerful and transformative tool - not only in difficult times but also as a path toward personal growth and self-discovery.
