About me

Hi, I'm Sarah a warm and compassionate Integrative Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges.

I can offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore and process thoughts and feelings, at a pace that works for you. I will support you with compassion, care and understanding on your journey, ensuring you are truly heard.

Whether you are feeling low, anxious, working through grief, trying to make sense of a difficult relationship, or maybe you just don't feel yourself, we can work through it together. We will focus on what is important to you at a pace that feels right for you.

I am dedicated to supporting and empowering my clients through exploration, encouraging growth, self compassion and resilience.

How I work

I am an Integrative therapist, meaning I draw upon different modalities to tailor each session to best support you. I recognise every client is unique and the experience of therapy should reflect this. I may include CBT or a Psychodynamic Approach in our sessions or we might look at Attachment styles or a Solution focused approach might be more suitable. Your needs will be considered throughout and we will work together.

A person centred approach is at my core and our relationship will provide the foundation for our work together. I believe a strong bond based on trust and safety is essential to support healing and growth.

Who I work with

I have experience working with all individuals aged 16+.

I have worked with a broad range of difficulties, including addiction, anxiety, anger, depression, low self‑esteem, bereavement, and trauma.

We can explore whatever is important to you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
