About me

I’m an integrative counsellor with a background in Psychology and coaching and am passionate about the benefits of counselling. I always offer warmth, compassion, understanding and a safe, non-judgemental space in which to talk.

As an integrative counsellor I offer counselling tailored to your needs and preferences, and can draw from a wide range of approaches including:

I work with clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression (including postnatal depression) and relationship issues (see below for a more comprehensive list).

I can also offer coaching for people who are focused on maximising their potential and achieving personal or professional goals.

My counselling room is in Lilliput, Poole. At present only telephone or online (Zoom) counselling are available.

I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I abide by their rigorous code of ethics and that you can be assured of the safety and quality of my work. I'm also a member of the British Psychological Society and am  working towards becoming chartered as a Counselling Psychologist.

  • MRes Psychology (a research masters on self-compassion for mental and physical health)

  • Certificate in Counselling


I am currently working towards becoming chartered as a Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs.
