About me

The relationship we have with ourselves and others is at the core of our every day. I hold a safe and empathetic space enabling us to explore and navigate those relationships together, where we can get to the root of challenges you may be facing, and difficult feelings can be accepted. This is a journey we will walk together at your own pace, where change, although often uncomfortable, can be embraced.

I am available in-person or online. I offer a free 20mins initial phone consultation so I can hear your needs and goals and we can both get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you. Please email to arrange this - I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

Psychodynamic psychotherapy provides the opportunity to not only express yourself and be heard but to reflect and transform. It can help process trauma, mental health difficulties or life challenges; access and navigate your unconscious attachments, behaviours and motivations; and shed light on patterns which may no longer serve you. When words are difficult to find or may not be enough, I can provide the option of creative forms of expression too such as using or selecting images.

I am experienced in working with clients with a range of needs, including those navigating anxiety, depression and grief; self-esteem and attachment issues; neurodiversity (e.g. ADHD); identity, family and relationship difficulties; as well as trauma and PTSD.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
