About me
I am here for the ones who feel they don't belong. The weird ones, who feel out of step with the world, or want to live an ‘alternative’ life. Maybe you identify as neurodivergent, queer or are struggling with chronic illness. I'd love to give you the space to find your next chapter.
I have three main tools in my belt to help you: person-centred therapy, somatic trauma recovery and creative arts. If you're drawn more to one approach than another, let me know. We will work together in a dynamic, integrative way, tailored to your needs and desires.
Person-centred Therapy
As a person-centred therapist, I believe in your undeniable strength, wisdom and wholeness. Imagine you’re an orchid trying to grow in stony soil. I aim to give you the experience of growing in rich, nutritious ground: being listened to, celebrated and able to practice honesty. Slowly, you’ll be able to bring that compost into your everyday life and bloom. Person-centred therapy can help with many of life’s challenges, including low self-esteem, bereavement, loneliness, feeling sad, depression, bullying, and social anxiety.
Somatic Trauma Recovery
Understanding your nervous system can help give you the insight, compassion and control to live the life you long for. Perhaps you struggle with anxiety, stress, sleeplessness, getting uncontrollably angry, or feeling numb. I can offer a structured approach to learning how to regulate your nervous system. Together, we will experiment with different somatic tools to see what helps you stay present, even in challenging moments.
Creative Arts
The act of getting something that’s inside you - a feeling, a sensation, a thought - outside is powerful. A messy drawing, a bad poem, an impassioned dance. This is not about making works of art; everyone is invited. Creating something can be a powerful way to take charge of your story and discover your authentic next step.
What else might you need to know?
- I have professional experience in a women’s service, addiction rehab, the NHS and with young adults.
- I’m passionate about providing LGBTQ+ counselling, in particular for trans and non-binary people. I can also support those living with HIV.
- I have lived experience of a chronic energy-limiting condition. I would love to support others who are struggling with chronic illness, such as chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, endometriosis, fibromyalgia and many more.
- I was raised Catholic, and now have an eco-spiritual sense of what is sacred. If connecting to your own religion, spirituality, or powerful myths in sessions is helpful, let me know. Equally, I can support with climate and eco-anxiety.
- I’m committed to the practice of anti-racism and supporting people who are experiencing discrimination, including race and class.
- I love supporting people who are wondering about, or have been diagnosed with, autism or ADHD, especially later in life.
I offer in-person sessions in the beautiful Changing Rooms at Sudley Walled Gardens. If you’ve not been there before, it’s a lovely slice of nature in L17/18 that you can explore before or after your therapy session. I also offer online video or phone sessions.
Reaching out for support can be a huge step, but if you find yourself stuck in the same pattern and want to find your way out, now might be the time.
I offer a reduced-price (£35) initial session, so that we can get to know each other and see if we're a good fit. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
UKAHPP is a national accrediting organisation for all those who apply the theories of Humanistic Psychology in their work. The UKAHPP is an independent member organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the UK Register of Counsellors. The Association is made up of a number of different membership classes e.g. Associate Members, Affiliate Members, Full Members, each with different requirements for entry. Full Members may use the initials 'MAHPP' after their names, and have undergone a rigorous accreditation procedure relevant to their discipline. All members of the Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners must commit to acceptance of the UKAHPP Code of Ethical Principles, the UKAHPP Code of Practice, the UKAHPP Ethical Review Procedure and the UKAHPP Complaints Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
