About me

Choosing a therapist can feel daunting. You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, low in confidence or unsure why things feel difficult right now. Whatever has led you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

Your 50 minute sessions are a confidential space where you matter. I offer warmth, empathy and gentle curiosity, creating a calm environment to explore how you’re feeling at your own pace.

My core approach is person-centred, meaning I meet you where you are and listen without judgement. Alongside this, I work integratively, drawing on CBT techniques, psychoeducation and practical tools when helpful — always tailored to you, always led by what you need.

I often work with: anxiety and stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship challenges, identity and self-worth, autism and ADHD, menopause and perimenopause, teenage stress and anxiety, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

I offer sessions with adults and young people (13+). Appointments are available in Stamford, online, or as walk-and-talk therapy.

I am a registered member of the BACP, adhering to recognised standards of ethical and professional practice.

If you’re wondering whether counselling could help, please do get in touch. I offer a 15-minute introductory call so you can ask questions, discuss what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether I'm the right fit for you. I’d be glad to hear from you. Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
