About me

I’m a Counselling Psychologist offering a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can talk openly about whatever feels difficult or overwhelming. People often come to therapy feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or unsure where to begin. My aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and able to make sense of what you’re experiencing at a pace that feels right for you.

I work in an integrative way, meaning therapy is tailored to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT-informed skills, schema-informed work, and person-centred therapy. Together, we will find an approach that feels helpful, manageable, and meaningful for you.

I place strong importance on the therapeutic relationship and creating a space where you feel emotionally safe, heard, and able to explore difficult experiences without judgment. I understand that trust can take time, particularly if you have experienced criticism, trauma, or feeling misunderstood in relationships, and we will work collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I have experience supporting adults with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and panic
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Low mood and depression
  • Trauma and complex trauma
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Relationship and attachment difficulties
  • Self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Eating difficulties, including anorexia nervosa
  • Self-harm and acute emotional distress
  • Psychotic experiences
  • Perinatal and maternal mental health challenges.

Alongside my private practice, I have trained and worked within NHS services, private hospitals, and community mental health settings. I am committed to working in a culturally sensitive, compassionate, and inclusive way and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.

If you are considering therapy and would like an initial consultation or brief introductory call to see whether we may be a good fit, I would be very happy to hear from you.
