About me
Hi, I'm Samantha,
I am a therapist based in Colchester who see individuals and couples.
Are You Stuck in the Same Relationship Patterns?
Do you keep attracting the same kinds of relationships, whether with partners, friends, or family- only to end up feeling unseen, unheard, or disconnected? Maybe you push people away when they get too close, struggle with trust, or feel like things never change, no matter what you do. Even when you crave connection, something holds you back- fear of rejection, abandonment, or getting hurt again. Anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship struggles can make life feel exhausting. But it doesn’t have to stay this way.
What If Things Could Be Different?
I’ve helped many people break free from these cycles and build relationships that feel secure, fulfilling, and healthy, including the one they have with themselves. My client's experience:
✅ Confidence in Relationships – No more overthinking or people-pleasing. You’ll set boundaries, express your needs, and feel secure in your connections, so that you no longer feel like you have to shrink yourself just to be loved.
✅ Authentic Connections – Whether in love, friendship, or family, you’ll experience deeper, more meaningful relationships, so that you can build stronger, supportive bonds and feel truly seen and valued by others.
✅ Emotional Freedom – Say goodbye to self-doubt and fear-based reactions, so that you’ll feel more in control and resilient, and be able to respond to life's challenges with confidence and calm.
✅ Self-Awareness & Empowerment – Understand your patterns, heal past wounds, and make conscious choices instead of repeating old cycles, so that you can trust your decisions again.
✅ Peace of Mind – No more endless spirals of anxiety or over-analysis. You’ll have the tools to manage emotions and feel more at ease, so that your mind feels like a safe place to be.
✅ A Stronger Sense of Self – Step into your authenticity, let go of past conditioning, and become the person you want to be, so that you wake up each day feeling grounded, worthy, and in control of your life.
How We Can Work Together...
I understand first-hand how deep these patterns can run, and I know what it's like to feel stuck, and I also know that real change is possible, not only have I been on this journey myself, but I help my clients break free from these cycles every day...
I offer individual therapy both in-person, in Colchester, if you are unable to meet in person, I also offer online sessions. Many of my clients choose this option for the flexibility and comfort of having therapy in their own space, and it's just as effective as face-to-face work. Sessions are £65 each. I also offer Couples Therapy in-person, in Colchester and that is £85 per session.
Therapy should feel like a safe space - one where you’re met with warmth, empathy, and respect. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you, with no pressure or judgment.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
