About me

I offer a warm, trauma-informed and nervous system-focused approach for Trauma, Anxiety, Phobias, Grief, and Emotional Wellbeing to help you feel safer in your body, not just in your thoughts.

You might feel constantly on edge, like your body can’t fully switch off.
Or your mind races, overthinking, replaying, worrying, while your body stays tense underneath it all.

For some, it shows up as anxiety or panic that feels sudden or overwhelming.
For others, fears or phobias begin to limit everyday life.
And sometimes, it’s a sense of loss or heaviness that hasn’t eased, even though time has passed.

I work with both young people and adults. If you’re younger, you might not always have the words for what’s going on, but you know something doesn’t feel right. If you’re an adult, you may have been carrying this quietly for a long time while trying to keep going. However it shows up, your body has been trying to protect you in the best way it can.

My approach brings gentle awareness to both mind and body. Alongside talking, we may also slow things down and begin to notice what’s happening in your body, helping you feel more grounded, settled, and in control over time.

Sessions are shaped around you. Some people want space to talk and be heard, while others are looking for more practical ways to manage anxiety or fear. We can move between both, always at a pace that feels manageable.

I work in a collaborative, and flexible way. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for, and no expectation to have the “right” words. We focus on what you need in each moment.

Over time, many people notice a shift, not just in their thoughts, but in how they feel day to day.
A little more calm.
A little less overwhelmed.
A little more able to be present in their life.

If you feel this might be the right kind of support for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We can arrange an free 15 minute initial conversation to see if working together feels like a good fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
