About me
I believe therapy is a space where you can discover who you are beneath the expectations, roles, and experiences that may have shaped you. My aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply, find your own voice, and grow towards a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and truly your own.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that it is the therapeutic relationship that makes meaningful change possible. Therapy offers a different kind of relationship, one in which you can feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted without having to perform, please others or pretend that everything is fine.
I aim to create a relationship built on trust, honesty and emotional safety. Within that relationship, we can explore your experiences together, including the parts of yourself that may have been silenced, hidden, or shaped by the expectations of others. I will not tell you who you should be, instead, I will listen deeply, offer gentle reflection, and stay alongside you as you discover what feels true for you.
Being met consistently and authentically can allow you to understand yourself more fully, recognise patterns that may no longer serve you, and begin to trust your own feelings and perceptions. Through our work together, my hope is that you will find your voice, grow in self-acceptance and self-understanding, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and meaningful. Acceptance does not mean avoiding difficult conversations. When I notice patterns, contradictions, or ways of relating that may be holding you back, I will compassionately challenge you. This will be offered with care, respect, and curiosity, an invitation to see yourself and your choices from a different perspective. The aim is not to create a new version of you but to help you grow more fully into the person you already have the potential to become.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
