About me
As a queer person I am passionate about working with people in the LGBTQ+ community. I am aware of the challenges and barriers that our community faces and I think that it’s important to offer support to people in a way that considers, incorporates and celebrates our identities.
What to expect?
In your sessions we can explore together whatever it is that you want to, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Whether that’s exploring past experiences, thought processes, developing coping strategies or taking some time to figure out what you would like to get out of therapy.
We can work collaboratively and work in a way so that you feel like you are getting the most out of your sessions.
Also! It’s important that you feel comfortable in your sessions, and I’d like you to know that I welcome fidgeting, walking around, doodling and also pets.
I have experience in supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds & lifestyles and I create a non-judgmental and supportive environment, where you can be yourself and feel comfortable during our sessions.
Some of the areas that I have supported people with are:
Living as a neurodivergent person
Sexuality
Gender identity
Experiences of abuse
Relationships
Self worth / Self esteem / Living authentically
Living with suicidal thoughts
Self harm
Depression / Anxiety
What's next?
I offer a free 15 minute call / video chat.
Whether it’s your first time trying therapy or if you’ve had therapy in the past, we can take some time to have a chat about what you would like to work on in sessions. I can share in more depth how we could potentially work together and answer any questions that you may have too!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
