About me
I am a fully qualified, accredited counselling psychotherapist and play therapist who is experienced in working with a varied client base. I work with adults, children and adolescents and also specialise in working with clients who have learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Global Learning Delay, Dyslexia, behavioural difficulties and Speech Language and Communication difficulties.
As an integrative counsellor with a background in person-centred, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic and TA (Transactional Analysis) counselling, I can help you with a range of issues including loss and grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and family and relationship issues.
Counselling aside, I am friendly, approachable and empathic; these characteristics are extremely beneficial in helping me to build relationships with people, putting them at ease and not in any way making them feel judged or inadequate. I consider myself to be extremely trustworthy and reliable, meaning that clients can feel secure in the knowledge that I will be there to support them when they need me the most.
