About me
I’m a person-centred and integrative therapist who works with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, low mood, bereavement and life changes.
A particular area of my work is couples and relationship counselling. I support couples with communication difficulties, conflict, trust issues, separation, changing family dynamics and other challenges that can leave people feeling disconnected. My role is not to take sides, but to help both partners feel heard, better understand what is happening in the relationship and find practical ways forward.
I also hold a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism (RQF) and work in an autism-informed and neurodiversity-affirming way. This can be especially helpful for individuals or couples where communication styles, sensory needs, emotional processing or routines may be affecting relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative and practical. Alongside person-centred therapy, I draw on relational counselling, solution-focused therapy and single-session therapy, adapting the work to what feels most useful for you.
I have experience across private practice, EAP services, education, bereavement support and online therapy. Most importantly, I aim to offer a space where you feel listened to, understood and supported to make meaningful changes.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer counselling from a private, designated room within my home, providing a calm, confidential and comfortable space for sessions. The room is accessed through the front of the property and is located up one flight of stairs. Bathroom facilities are available, although there is no waiting room, so clients are asked to arrive at their appointment time.
On-street parking is available nearby, including four free parking spaces. If these are occupied, visitor parking permits can usually be arranged easily for parking in the surrounding area.
I also offer an autism-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approach and can adapt the way sessions are structured to support different communication, processing and sensory needs.
