About me
As an integrative psychotherapist, I am here to go on a journey of self-discovery with you with any difficulties that may arise on the journey. Whether you’re seeking a simple improvement or healing from deep wounds, within yourself and/or with others, I can help. I understand that at times your family/friends may be part of the problem, this is where I come into your situation with fresh eyes, an open heart, and much experience and strength to help you regain your sense of who you are. Sometimes people find it difficult or uncomfortable to put their feelings into words, make sense of what they are going through and need help & support from someone outside of their personal life. This is where we can explore things together to create a clearer picture.
The therapeutic space is non-judgmental and a confidential relationship; where you will be free to be able to talk about whatever it is, concerning you. It is a safe and secure space for you to be open and authentic that you may have felt you have never been able to do so before Together we will explore your issues and re-build your self-confidence and self-worth, to enable you to take the responsibility for your own choices and make a positive changes within your life.
There many areas that can be explored and can be from current to even past issues i.e. bereavement, anger, depression, relationship issues and many more. A therapeutic relationship can last from weeks to even years depending on when we feel we have accomplished what you came for – there is no time limit. I believe a genuine therapeutic relationship is needed between the client in order for growth to occur. Therapy is tailored to your needs alone.
I offer individual counselling on a open ended arrangement. This can be either short- or long-term counselling.
I provide the opportunity and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour to identify core issues which may be causing you stress in life. No issue is small, if it matters to you then it matters to me – a space for you to say whatever you feel you want to, a space to offload, a space to think, a space for you to just be you. I believe everyone is unique therefore I cater to each and everyone one of you on your individual needs. We work at your pace emphasising my belief in you that you have the ability to find your own solutions and direction with myself as a form of guidance.
During your first visit, we will look at what has brought you to counselling, what you are hoping to achieve and whether you feel my way of working will suit your needs and then agree on the best way of moving forward together. This initial meeting is very important, so you can discuss any concerns and what you would like from counselling. So call, and we can talk about what’s going on for you and whether I might be a good fit for helping you at this point in your journey.
Currently only offering online and telephone sessions.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
