About me
Starting therapy can be scary but I'm here to help. What I can offer you is a space to feel safe and supported to share your story and work with those anxious thoughts and build better boundaries.
A safe space
Feeling lost? Isolated? Anxious or depressed? Struggling with relationship dynamics, personal crisis or challenging life transitions? It takes real courage to seek support during times of uncertainty and stress; allowing yourself the time and space to process and grow is what I can help you with during our sessions.
Taking some time away from the rest of your life to process and heal can feel hard to do and selfish sometimes but it can make a postive difference to you and those around you.
Finding the right therapist
Over the last decade, I have spent hundreds of hours working with clients, supporting people through anxiety, trauma, heartbreak, grief and healing.
I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor, with a focus on the person centred theory of counselling whilst also integrating CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, where it feels right for you, in my client work.
I have experience of working in all of these areas, with a specialism in anxiety: relationships, self esteem/self worth, self talk, depression, family dynamics, addiction, bereavement and making changes to habits (you can see everything I can help with below.)
First steps
Many clients feel their first therapy session is the only time they've ever had a safe and judgement free space to talk and really be seen and heard.
I offer all clients a free 15 minute initial zoom or telephone consultation to ask any questions and see if you feel like we could work together and we're a good fit. I know it can feel scary but these chats are a really good way to ease your nerves and get to know one another.
Your sessions will then cost £60 and last for 60 minutes. I do offer some concessions for students or other circumstances.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my training with the CPCAB (Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) which is the only awarding body in Europe to specialise in the field of counselling. I am a BACP Registered Member having passed their Certificate of Proficiency and committed to working within their Ethical framework.
My qualifications and further training weaves together psychodynamic theory with integrated self care practices and education, helping to guide you in developing self-compassion, emotional intelligence, body-awareness and powerful tools for anxious thoughts.
My core training is in Integrative Counselling which means I’m grounded in the Person Centred theory of counselling whilst also integrating CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, where it feels right for you, in my client work.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
