About me

Hi, I’m Rosalind — a BACP-registered counsellor offering a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to offer a safe, supportive space to help you make sense of what you’re feeling. Counselling can provide the space to pause and explore what’s going on beneath the surface. You don’t need to have a clear reason for starting therapy, if something doesn’t feel quite right, that’s reason enough to reach out.

I work in a person-centred and holistic way, which means our sessions will be led by what matters most to you. I won’t give advice or quick fixes. I’ll support you to explore your experiences in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering, at your pace and in your own way. My role is to offer you a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself, gain clarity, and ultimately find your own solutions.

I am warm, grounded, and easy to talk to. My role is to offer a supportive relationship built on trust and empathy, a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement, pressure or expectations.

I offer face-to-face and online sessions for adults across the UK. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with your therapist, so I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. This gives you the chance to ask any questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

If you’d like to take that first step or ask any questions, please feel free to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have trained as an integrative therapist, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to suit your unique needs. You are at the heart of the process, and together we will build a strong, supportive relationship that forms the foundation of your therapeutic journey toward a more positive and fulfilling life.

My experience spans a variety of settings, including the charity sector, where I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds. I’ve worked with people of different ages, cultures, races, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities, and have helped clients navigate a wide range of emotional challenges. These include, but are not limited to, anxiety, relationship difficulties, financial stress, anger, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, depression, and low self-esteem.

At the core of our work is the therapeutic relationship we develop-one built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. This relationship will support you in safely exploring and understanding the difficulties you are facing.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and offer sessions both in person and online via Zoom.

To help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a free initial telephone consultation of up to 20 minutes. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and feel confident in taking the next step.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
