About me

You may be feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Perhaps anxiety is overwhelming, depression is affecting your day-to-day life, addiction has become difficult to manage, or you find yourself repeatedly struggling in relationships. You may be carrying feelings of shame, low self-esteem, or emotional pain that can be difficult to make sense of on your own.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can explore these difficulties together and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

I am a trauma-informed therapist specialising in addiction recovery, gambling addiction, ketamine addiction, codependency, attachment wounds, shame, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, break unhealthy patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others.

My experience includes working within specialist addiction treatment services, including The Nightingale Hospital and Priory Hospital North London, supporting individuals through detoxification, early recovery, relapse prevention, and ongoing therapeutic work. Alongside addiction, I regularly work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and the impact of childhood experiences on adult life.

Many of the people I work with struggle with an overly critical inner voice, difficulties setting boundaries, people-pleasing behaviours, or a tendency to seek validation from others. Together we can explore where these patterns originated, develop greater self-awareness, and build a healthier relationship with yourself.

I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches and have undertaken specialist training in the PIT (Post Induction Therapy) Model, developed by Pia Mellody. This approach helps individuals understand how childhood experiences, attachment wounds, and shame can continue to influence thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships in adulthood.

Whether you are seeking support with addiction recovery, gambling addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, or personal growth, therapy can provide a space to gain insight, develop resilience, and move towards a more fulfilling life.

Addiction Recovery

Addiction can leave you feeling trapped in a cycle that seems impossible to break. Whether you are struggling with alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography, sex and love addiction, ketamine use, or other compulsive behaviours, recovery is possible.

I work with individuals at all stages of recovery, from those considering change to those maintaining long-term sobriety. Together we can explore triggers, relapse patterns, emotional regulation, shame, and the underlying issues that may be driving addictive behaviours.

My experience includes working within specialist addiction treatment settings, supporting individuals through detoxification, early recovery, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery planning.

Gambling Addiction

Gambling addiction can have a devastating impact on finances, relationships, self-esteem, and mental health. Many people experience feelings of shame, secrecy, hopelessness, and isolation.

I provide a confidential space to explore the emotional, psychological, and behavioural aspects of gambling addiction. Together we can identify triggers, challenge destructive thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a sustainable recovery plan.

Codependency & Relationship Difficulties

Do you find yourself putting other people's needs before your own? Struggling to set boundaries? Seeking validation from others or repeatedly finding yourself in unhealthy relationships?

Codependency often develops as a way of coping with difficult experiences and can affect self-esteem, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. Therapy can help you understand these patterns, develop healthier boundaries, strengthen your sense of self, and build more fulfilling relationships.

Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression can affect every area of life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck.

Whether you are experiencing excessive worry, panic, low mood, loss of motivation, self-criticism, or feelings of hopelessness, therapy can help you understand what is contributing to these difficulties and develop healthier ways of coping.

Together we can explore both current challenges and the deeper experiences that may be influencing how you feel today.

Trauma & Attachment Wounds

Many emotional difficulties can be traced back to earlier life experiences and relationships. Childhood experiences can shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we cope with life's challenges.

I have a particular interest in working with attachment wounds, shame, low self-esteem, emotional neglect, and relational trauma. Using a trauma-informed approach, we can explore these experiences safely and help you develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience.

Men's Mental Health

Many men find it difficult to talk openly about how they feel. You may have spent years coping alone, believing that you should be able to manage everything yourself.

I work with men experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, anger, shame, and emotional disconnection. Therapy can provide a space to explore these challenges openly, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a stronger relationship with yourself and others.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have extensive experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Priory Hospital North London, alongside my work in private practice. I also support clients with dual diagnoses, bringing a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to complex and overlapping difficulties.

My work is compassionate, strengths-based and tailored to you as an individual. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is happening in your life — at a pace that feels right for you.

I draw on modern, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, adapting them to meet your needs. I have experience providing both short-term focused therapy and longer-term exploratory work, as well as facilitating therapeutic groups.

If you’re considering therapy, you can expect to be met with warmth, respect and genuine support, and to work collaboratively towards understanding, healing and meaningful change.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
