About me
Do you seem to be coping on the outside, but feel anxious, depleted, self-critical, emotionally overwhelmed, or stuck?
You may be used to holding things together for other people, performing well at work, or managing life in a way that looks functional from the outside. Yet internally, things may feel harder to carry.
Old patterns in relationships, work, self-worth, identity, grief, trauma-related difficulties, or emotional regulation may be becoming harder to ignore.
I offer a calm, thoughtful space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface.
My approach
My work is depth-oriented and integrative. This means we do not only focus on symptoms in isolation, but also on the patterns, histories, protective strategies, emotions, body responses, and relationship dynamics that may be shaping your current distress.
- Primary approach: Psychodynamic / integrative / relational
- Informed by: DBT-informed skills, somatic-informed awareness, trauma-informed practice
- Framework: Open Mind Method — insight, regulation, agency.
Together, this allows us to work across three connected areas: insight, regulation, and agency.
- Insight helps us understand the roots of recurring patterns.
- Regulation helps you notice and respond to what feels overwhelming in the body and nervous system.
- Agency helps you build clearer boundaries, choices, and ways of relating to yourself and others.
What I work with
People often come to me when they feel anxious, burnt out, ashamed, emotionally shut down, highly self-critical, stuck in relationship patterns, or caught between functioning and quietly struggling.
How I work
Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and paced carefully. I will not push you into material before there is enough safety and stability to work with it.
At the same time, the work is not passive. We will think together about what is happening, what may have shaped it, and what becomes possible when you have more choice.
Who I work with
I work with adults online nationwide and in person in Peckham, South East London. I offer therapy in English, Spanish, French, Dutch, and Portuguese.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, MBACP, registration number 411264.
I trained in Counselling Skills at WPF Therapy and obtained a PgDip in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London.
I also hold a BSc in Biomedical Science from University College London and an MSc in Medical Microbiology from the University of Westminster. This background informs my interest in the relationship between mind, body, emotion, stress, and psychological distress.
I am the founder and director of Open Mind Therapy, where I offer depth-oriented, integrative psychotherapy for adults. My work draws on psychodynamic thinking, DBT-informed skills, somatic-informed awareness, and a strong focus on emotional regulation, relational patterns, boundaries, and agency.
My clinical experience includes working with adults in private mental health settings, including Priory. I support people with anxiety, burnout, self-criticism, shame, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, grief, trauma-related distress, and longstanding patterns that feel difficult to change.
My experience also includes work related to sexual health, relational wellbeing, intimacy, identity, stigma, disclosure, diagnosis, and health-related anxiety.
I have worked with people from a range of communities and cultural backgrounds across London, Manchester, and New York. This informs my sensitivity to identity, belonging, migration, difference, stigma, and the social contexts that shape emotional life.
I work online and in person in Peckham, South East London, and continue to engage in regular supervision and professional development in line with BACP ethical standards.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Sessions are available online and in person at Peckham Therapy Space on Bellenden Road, South East London.
The therapy room is private, calm, and suitable for confidential one-to-one work. If you have any access needs, sensory preferences, or practical concerns about attending in person, these can be discussed before booking.
I usually begin with an initial assessment. This gives us time to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether my way of working feels like the right fit.
Therapy can be short-term, focused, or open-ended depending on your needs. I work depth-oriented, but with attention to pacing, emotional safety, and practical stability. We can work with what feels immediate while also making space to understand longer-standing patterns.
Sessions are collaborative rather than prescriptive. I will not tell you who to be or what choices to make. Instead, we will work together to understand what is happening, what may be repeating, and what becomes possible when there is more awareness, regulation, and agency.
Open Mind Therapy is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are at immediate risk, please contact emergency services, NHS 111, your GP, or your local crisis team.
