About me
Let me introduce my warm, safe, welcoming Counselling Practice in the peaceful village of Gayton NN7 3EU, near Towcester, Weedon, Floor, Bugbrooke, Pattishall, Daventry & Northampton. I offer experience across many areas of mental health, providing counselling from children (11+) to Adults. With an additional specialism in Bereavement counselling...
Wherever you may be on your mental health or grief journey, I will work alongside you, with upmost empathy and compassion and respect, in an ethical, safe, boundaried way.
Like a kaliedoscope, life can feel messy, change fast, or can feel darker sometimes; can be lonely & testing, we can feel at capacity and heavy. I work collaboratively with my Clients to unravel difficult thoughts & feelings, & behaviours; clarify, explore, process, understand, reflect, and move through these struggles to help bring some space and colour back; and sometimes connect with your inner rainbow.
I am an Integrative, Trauma Informed Counsellor, so I match my approach to meet my Clients needs. I am always expanding my training with extensive CPD and a passion for research. I believe it is important to not stagnate as a practitioner and be aware of contemporary theories and practice that I can bring to my client work. Keeping you, my client, always at the heart of what I do, giving maximum focus and commitment to my work. It would be great to meet you and see if I am the right match counsellor for you.
Any questions, reach out and e-mail me. I offer both remote, telephone and face to face counselling.
I am BUPA approved & registered and fully insured with Holistic Insurance (Renewal August 2026). I have a valid DBS and Registered with the ICO. I am fully Accredited with the BACP.
E-mail me at enquiries@gaytonlodgecounselling.co.uk & I'll send some further information about how I work... for now, do take care! Thank you for your interest in my practice.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
