About me

You might be feeling:

  • tired and exhausted from facing the same issues without a clear path forward
  •  like you're having to manage and hold lots for other people and perhaps are loosing a sense of yourself in doing so
  • caught up in patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you
  • as though your own self worth is compromised

These are some of the difficulties we can work through together. We can take a look at what is going on for you and see where choice and empowerment is possible. You will be seen and heard and all feelings are welcome. Sometimes we don’t realise some of the feelings we are holding as we push them down – letting them out can be overwhelming and/or feel inconvenient. I aim to work at your pace giving time and space to whatever needs processing. I am gentle and compassionate and ensure to take care of all parts of you – past and present.

I have experience working with stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, or other difficulties such as trauma or relationship issues. I have a particular interest in women’s health, such as menstrual cycles, pregnancy, miscarriage and perimenopause.

I also have experience working with neurodiversity. You may not have a diagnosis but could be experiencing traits or characteristics that you are curious to explore.

I warmly welcome those who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community and/or those who may be on a journey with their gender/sexual identity.

I have two locations:
Mondays and Thursdays: Seale-Hayne (Newton Abbot) - SPACES AVAILABLE
Tuesdays and Fridays: Central Newton Abbot - FULL

I offer in-person sessions or online and a free 30 minute consultation. My fees are £50 for a one-hour session, however, concession prices are available.  Free parking is available.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
