About me

Hi,

Are you currently experiencing difficulties , confusion, anger, anxiety, depression or low mood, loss or bereavement, maybe you've had a diagnosis of cancer or another life-shortening disease and don't know where to turn.

It's lovely to meet you, tell me, what is it you need right now? Let's work together and see if we can find a way to ease your difficulties.

Having been where you are now, at the beginning of a counselling journey I know how daunting that initial first step can be, reaching out for help is not an easy decision right now especially if you are feeling down, angry or struggling, counselling can help offer clarity for you.

You will receive a compassionate and non-judgemental counselling service, however you choose to work -online via Zoom, or by phone, or face-to-face as walk and talk sessions (local to me) the choice is yours.

As a counsellor, I have experience of working with, and helping people experiencing many difficulties including anxiety and depression, stress, low self-esteem, low worth, loss and bereavement, people suffering with cancer and other life-shortening diseases, terminal illness and palliative care, and those caring for them, and clients and carers affected by ADHD, and autism, as well as clients experiencing trauma.

As a qualified humanistic counsellor I work with adults in a person centred modality, putting you at the centre of the work.

I am fully insured and am a member of BACP and also NCPS.

I currently volunteer with Macmillan counselling services as well as working with EAP (employee assistance programmes) and  have my own private practice too.

Please feel free to drop me an email, call, text or visit my   Facebook page, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google search at RHCounselling, Hailsham.

This counselling service welcomes everyone over 18  in a supportive, non-judgmental, and non-discriminatory manner, all are welcome.

Remember, be kind to yourself

I'm really looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
