About me

Hi I'm Randeep. I am an accredited CBT therapist, with over 14 years of experience working in mental health.

**I am currently offering a discounted rate of £55 per session for the next two clients who agree to begin CBT sessions with me (usual price: £75). Please get in touch or check out the website for more details.**

I have experience of delivering therapy to adults (age 18+) in NHS primary care settings. Prior to becoming a therapist, my experience has also included working to secondary care and specialist mental health services. I have contributed to research into conditions such as depression, psychosis and eating disorders.

Whether you have experienced a setback which has knocked your confidence, or you have never felt confident as a person, I specialise in supporting people to improve their self-esteem.

By overcoming anxiety and low mood, I can help you to be more relaxed and confident in yourself.

Often people can feel anxious or nervous in social situations. If you find this holds you back, therapy can help you to understand and find ways to overcome these feelings.

Problems I can help with

  • Depression
  • Generalised anxiety
  • Social anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Panic disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Health anxiety
  • Body dysmorphia

I provide a warm, non-judgemental and culturally-sensitive approach to help adults explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours to help understand their mental health. I work collaboratively with people to ensure that they play an active role in working towards their goals.

Throughout my work, I receive regular supervision with an experienced CBT Therapist to ensure I can deliver the best therapy I can. I offer sessions in person at a dedicated space in Sidcup or online using video call software.

I understand that seeking help and going through the therapy process can be daunting and challenging. But rest assured that by starting therapy, you are taking the first steps to improve your mental health and set yourself free from what is holding you back. In our free introductory call, I can talk you through what is involved in therapy and discuss our expectations.

My speciality is to help people to recover their confidence if they have low self-esteem. We may address low self-esteem if we believe it is an underlying cause for the above problems.

I have developed my practice to accommodate for people with neurodivergence and those with perinatal mental health difficulties.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology and Biology at Aston University
  • Graduate Diploma (GDip) in Psychology at Aston University
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Mental Health and Psychological Therapies at Queen Mary University of London
  • Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Psychological Therapy at the University of Sussex

The PgDip in Psychological Therapies I completed at the University of Sussex equipped me to help people understand and manage common mental health difficulties, such as depression and anxiety disorders. Alongside this training, I completed a placement at the local NHS Talking Therapies service (previously known as IAPT), which gave me first hand experience of applying theory in a clinical context.

This qualification has given me BABCP accreditation, which means I have an ongoing commitment to meet the high standards of training through regular practice, supervision and continuous professional development. In my practice, I follow the BABCP Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

In addition to this, I have supported people with a range of mental health difficulties of varying severity. This includes working in A&E, crisis services, inpatient wards and community settings with people experiencing anxiety, depression and emotional regulation problems resulting from trauma, as well as eating disorders. From this, I gained an understanding of how important it is to build relationships and talk openly about how we think or feel about the challenges in life that we face.
