Hello and welcome, my name is Rachel.
I am providing a FREE 20 minute consultation call if you would like to know more or have any questions.
There are many reasons why you may be searching for a counsellor. We all need support at various times in our lives and all for different reasons. Sometimes it might feel as though you are carrying this alone, maybe you are not sure how to cope with it all.
I feel that we all have the right to be heard and to have our feelings acknowledged. I will offer you a safe, confidential space to express yourself, without judgement. You can use this space to reflect on what is going on for you, at your own pace. I will support you and work with you in finding your answer. Reflection and exploration provides you with an opportunity to gain some insight and understanding, which can enable you to move forwards in life.
Counsellors have various ways of working, my approach understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship, that being, the professional relationship between you and I. In order to feel comfortable expressing yourself, it is important that you feel I am the right therapist for you.
Whether it's anxiety, panic attacks, depression, childhood trauma, or perhaps something else, it can sometimes feel difficult to take the first step. If you have not had therapy before it can appear daunting. I will do my best to reassure you about the process and answer any concerns you may have.
If you would like to know more, have any questions about what I offer or would like to book a free 20 minute consultation call, please call or email. Together we can book this at a time that works for you.

MBACP - Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
