About me

I am Rachel, a qualified and insured integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor, working in my own private practice. I offer individual therapy by telephone or online, for both short- and long-term work.

I believe that, with the right support, everyone has the capacity for growth, change, and greater self-understanding. I provide a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can feel heard without judgment. Together, we can explore your experiences at your own pace, helping you gain clarity, develop self-awareness, and foster personal growth, while supporting and empowering you to find your own solutions.

Alongside my counselling work, I provide clinical supervision for both qualified and trainee counsellors. I aim to create a collaborative relationship that promotes good practice, encourages growth, and supports your development as a practitioner. Supervision provides a reflective and supportive space to explore client work, ethical considerations, and professional development, helping you build confidence and self-awareness.

I am a registered and accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and work in line with their ethical framework.

Getting Started....

Reaching out can feel daunting, so I offer a free initial consultation for both therapy and supervision, lasting approximately 20 minutes. This consultation provides a safe and welcoming space to ask questions, explore your needs, and see whether working together feels right for you.

I have over 20 years’ experience working for Bristol City Council, with a focus on family support and community outreach. During this time, I worked with individuals and families of all ages, including children, young people, and adults, supporting them through complex challenges. I facilitated group work, delivered courses and parenting programmes within the community. I have extensive experience in mental health, safeguarding, and domestic abuse, which I further developed during four years working in a domestic abuse charity.
