About me

Warm welcome

I'm a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor with the NCS, and a Rewind therapist, supporting children, young people and adults who are anxious, worried, grieving, stressed, living with experienced trauma, abuse, and relationship problems.

You may feel unsure of who to turn to or what to do at the moment. I understand how hard it is to find a counsellor that you will be able to work with. It takes courage to make the first step towards counselling. I will work alongside you, giving you time and space to explore why you are feeling the way you do at your own pace.

I provide:

  • A place for you to be heard, understood, not judged, and where you can just be you.
  • An opportunity for you to work at your own pace talking through experiences that you may never have told anyone before
  • Help with making sense of your experiences, how they make you feel now, and how to make positive changes
  • A chance for you to become more self-aware, develop your confidence and empower yourself
  • You with me - a compassionate, empathic, warm person, with a sense of humour that will walk your journey with you until you are ready to walk it alone
  • Creative counselling to children, young people and adults
  • A safe, confidential, relaxing space for you to explore your feelings and experiences

I use creative techniques in counselling, we might use pens, paper, clay, sand trays etc. (you don't have to be creative for this). This is highly beneficial when you are finding it hard to find the correct words or express your feelings verbally. It takes the emphasis off you having to talk. Your therapy is very much tailored around you and how you'd like to work, so you get the best from it.

For face to face appointments I am based at The Reiki Room Acle; Divine Time Holistic Health, The Vicarage Hub, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk; and Milestone Therapy Centre, Ingham Road, Stalham, Norfolk, NR12 9DS. Free parking at all venues. I provide online or telephone appointments nationwide too.

Please have a look at my website and get in touch with any questions you have, my website will give you more information about what counselling will be like and how we will work together. I'm offering a free 30 minute consultation at the moment which you can book above or on my website. This will give us an opportunity to chat about what you'd like to work through and an opportunity for you to get to know me.
