About me
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I view our work together as a collaborative journey, grounded in trust, curiosity and respect. My aim is to create a warm and empathetic space where you feel heard, understood and supported.
I am a chartered counselling psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have a post-graduate diploma in applied psychology (PG Dip), a post-graduate certificate in low intensity cognitive behavioural interventions (PG Cert), a masters in affective disorders (MSc), and a doctorate in counselling psychology (PsychD).
I am trained in three different therapeutic modalities: humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. This allows me to work integratively, tailoring our work to suit your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
With 15 years’ experience across the NHS, private practice and charitable sectors, I have supported adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or feeling stuck in patterns you would like to change, we can work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Sometimes it can feel helpful to talk to someone before making a decision to see them. If that's the case, I'm very happy to do an introductory call to discuss what you would like to work on - reach out and we can arrange a time to talk.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
