About me
I’m an experienced and Accredited Psychotherapist specialising in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Addiction, Anxiety and Traumatic stress. I am also someone who has recovered from OCD myself. I work with a variety of proven and effective approaches to help with these difficulties. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and supported, and I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are valued. Together, we can navigate your challenges, develop effective strategies, and empower you toward lasting change. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.
I work with a modern and Integrative Cognitive & Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Having been in practice for many years I have gained skills and learning in a wide range of psychotherapeutic techniques to help people over come their problems and live full and meaningful lives.

I have worked in a variety of senior and Clinical Lead roles, such as:
- Clinical Lead of Counselling for the University of Glasgow
- Clinical Mental Health Lead for Phoenix Futures (An addictions charity)
- Nurse Manager of Psychological Therapies - NHS Midlothian
- And various preceding private and NHS positions.
I also have core and continued specialist training, including:
- Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Bsc Mental Health Nursing(with Distinction)
- Pg.Cert Primary Care Mental Health(with Distinction)
I continue to train in a wide variety of therapy traditions, including:
- Schema Therapy
- Internal Family Systems
- Radically Open DBT
- Emotion Focussed Therapy

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
