About me

Young Person and adult counsellor.

As an integrative counsellor, I see each person as a whole individual, not just a list of problems. My approach to therapy combines different techniques and ideas from various types of counselling. This allows me to create a therapy experience that's personalized and effective for each person I work with, whether they're adults or young people.

I believe in tailoring my approach to fit each person's specific issues, personality, and what they feel comfortable with. This way, I can help them tackle their challenges in a way that makes sense for them and respects their unique journey.

Integrative counselling means looking at every part of a person's life—thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, and how they see themselves. I understand that everything is connected, and improving one area can often help improve others.

Flexibility is the cornerstone in my work. I adapt the therapy techniques I use based on what works best for each person and their situation. This means therapy can change and grow with them as they do.

I believe in digging deep to understand what's really going on underneath the surface. By exploring different parts of life, we can uncover patterns and reasons behind issues, which helps to make real and lasting changes.

Therapy is a team effort. I work together with my clients to set goals and find ways to reach them. Building trust and understanding is key, so everyone feels safe and supported.

I use a variety of tools in my counselling practice, like talking through problems, learning new ways to think about things (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), understanding how past experiences affect us (Psychodynamic Therapy), focusing on personal growth ( Humanistic Therapy), and techniques to relax and stay in the moment ( Mindfulness) and (Creative Therapy-drawing ,sand tray, miniatures)

Whether you're an adult dealing with life's challenges or a young person navigating school, relationships, or just figuring things out, integrative counselling can help. It's about finding what works best for you and helping you feel more in control and happier in your life.
